CHCC: the FAQs

When is the Sunday service, and how long does it last?

Service begins at 10:30 am every Sunday, usually lasting about an hour.

We also have Sunday schools for all ages beginning at 9:15 am.

(Our Samoan congregation begins service at 1:00 pm on Sundays. More information about their congregation coming soon.)

Do you have a nursery?

We do! Our wonderful nursery attendant, Breanna, will be happy to look after your kiddos during the morning worship service.

What is a typical service like?

Our worship is filled with the peace that flows from goodwill and the joy that is sparked by laughter, the hope that comes from a meaningful message and the love that emanates from a congregation that truly cares about each of its members. The service includes singing, scripture reading, a time with the youth, a reflection by the pastor, a time to share the joys and concerns of the congregation, and a gathering at the communion table. Everyone is welcome to participate in all elements of the service.

What's the dress code?

The short answer is, there isn't one! Come in your pajamas, come in your most elegant evening clothes, come in jeans and a sweatshirt. The most important thing is that you are here.

Can we participate in communion even if we aren't members?

Absolutely. All visitors are welcome to participate in all elements of the service.
